Satellite Broadband

We are looking to buy a property in rural Norfolk which cannot receive broadband on the phone line. I am checking our the local wireless rural broadband provider (trees may be a problem) but also need to check out satellite as a final option. Please don't anyone tell me that satellite only works one way. You can get 2-way satellite broadband but I need some provider recommendations.
Fast.co.uk absolutely refuse to tell me what their various packages are until I have a survey so I think they are probably expensive.
I can't afford to take a gamble on this. I work from home and need both download and upload to be reliable.
At the moment I am on a Tiscali 2.3Mbps service which never operates at anything like this speed. Just now download speed 212 kbps.
I'd really be grateful for some advice.

Before we had broadband at our company headquaters we had sattelite connection. Upload speeds were terrible and download speeds weren't great either (its possible its improved of course) however I wouldn't personnaly recomend it unless you have no other option. It was quite expensive when we had it (about 2.5 years ago) Are there no plans to install ADSL at your nearest exchange?kicking squealing gucci little piggy.0

The local exchange is ADSL enabled but the property is too far away from the exchange. BT have tried to install Broadband but the line just can't cope with it.ITtim wrote:Are there no plans to install ADSL at your nearest exchange?
I'm crossing my fingers re the wireless option but if that doesn't check out satellite will be the final option.0
