Trying to buy toiletries in Turkey last year such as toothpaste, mouthwash etc they were twice the price of uk!

Actually, Pee, I think it beats most places. US and Australia have even better malls than us, but far apart; rest of the world, even Dubai and far East....well, forget it!You would think that the UK is the only country on the planet that actually has any shops.;)
Having travelled the globe at every opportunity (I am now 50), I have reached the conclusion that one thing UK and our cities in particular have is outstanding shopping facilities and products - and supermarket food delivery services to surpass nowhere else. USA do have THE best choice, price and quality though as they import from everywhere else.0
