I also had no problems activating my Citibank account. It did take a few minutes to get through - but nothing drastic and the rest was easy. My account was up and running within 10 days of making my intial on-line application.0

No problems here either opening two accounts. Both up and running within a week. The phone calls for activation were both answered in seconds.0

I have had my citibank savings account open for a month now, and i choose to have interest paid monthly yet i have not received any interest yet. How long was it for anybody with an account to received interest???0
-
Usually interest paid on the last day of the month (31/10) or ether on the first day of the month (01/11), it should be outlined in the TC of your account.0

Anyone withdrawn any dosh from their a/c's yet?
The reason I ask is that I've just read a thread on another site from someone who claims to have accidentally paid £4500 into her husbands Citibank a/c several months ago and they cannot get it back (in spite of "help from the ombudsman").
Clearly, there must be more to the tale than meets the eye but it did lead me to wonder if there was any probs with on-line BACS withdrawals, which I haven't done yet.0 -
Unlike Egg Savings there are no BACS withdrawals to multiple accounts.
