ISA regular investor

Options
Hi

I want to invest £100 a month in a mini s&s ISA. I already have a mini cash ISA and have put in my 3k limit this year and i invest £50 per month in a Halifax regular investor mini s&s iSA. The Halifax ISA has done OK but it is a "steady-but-not-spectacular" savings plan and I want to invest in something that performs a little better. I want a fund that will give a good return over the next 12 years (likely to have twins going to uni in 2018ish) so am prepared to leave it untouched as it builds. Obviously I want to minimise charges too......

not much to ask, but any recommendations?

Can't recommend specific funds. Not allowed - Forum rules, FSA rules.

You might consider a FTSE All Share index tracker. Minimum charges, same performance as most managed funds. Have a look at ETFs as well.

thanks. I understand that people cannot make specific recommendations. I guess I should have re-phrased my question along the lines of:

"As a regular investor, where can I go to see a direct comparison of s&s ISAs?"

there's so much info out there but is there an easy like-for-like comparison site?

There is no such thing as a like for like comparison as there are no funds which are like for like. How do you compare a low risk commercial property fund against a high risk China fund?

OK, let's start from here. The ISA is just the tax wrapper.

What fund(s) is your money actually invested in?
    Trying to keep it simple...;)

Sorry to interupt, I don't think you get a choice with the isa investor (Halifax) do you???? i think they allow you choose your level of risk and level of split
I am not clue'd up as you probably can tell
    But for example:

    UK Growth Fund
    UK Equity Income Fund
UK FTSE 100 Index Tracking Fund
    Corporate Bond
UK FTSE All Share Index Tracking Fund

Not too sure of the %'s but the bottom 2 have the most amount of shares

am i doing something wrong if you can choose?
