love the houndstooth dress.... would have probably rather had just a skirt to be honest but it's so nice i just couldn't resist... trouble is my office is not the kinda place where you wear such a dress really so i just might end up wearing it as a skirt with a black polo over it.

Don't get house keys now until monday, but i think i said that already....

have only been at work 2 hours, it's dragging, and i have plenty to do.... it's gonna be a long week!!!

  • Morning all.
Had to have our coffee inside today - too windy.
Oiling worksurfaces? Wonder what sammy has ordered.

Should be doing all the stuff I should have done yesterday today but what's the point?

The dresses were very foxy Maz! :T

Think you should definitely wear it as a dress though - you can carry it off! I wear skirts, dresses, heels etc in an office where a lot of people wear jeans, but I don't worry about it, it's just my style (not that I have a huge amount of style, but you know what I mean!)

I've just had to buy Halloween costumes for the kids because they have a party next week, and new bedding for Natasha...cost me a small fortune.

I bought a 2 pack of bras and a 2 pack of matching knickers in Next a couple of weeks ago and they are soooo comfortable and cute, but somehow managed to lose one of the pairs of knickers... so I had to go and buy a new pack of 2 today which cost £8 , but otherwise I would have stopped wearing the bra (and probably bought a new matching set to replace it), so I think I can just about class that as moneysaving... :rotfl:

Bookie - pick one thing that you should have done yesterday and do it today. Otherwise you'll get to the evening with that horrible sense of not having accomplished anything. If you get more than one thing done, great. If not, at least you have still made some progress.

I will pledge to paint my windowsill today if you pledge to do something too... ;):D

    Morning all

Just took DH for a walk to the bakers, coming back was a bit of a nightmare but he refused to take the chair...stubborn muppet that he is :D

Intirim payment cheque has just arrived so need to pop to the bank in a bit and get that in - going to be lazy and take the bus though as my sciatica is giving me gip today and it's all up hill. I must admit that takes so much stress off my shoulders knowing that the bills will be paid for the next 3 months, the overdrafts will be clear and 2 cards will be gone :j

Really autumnal here today, bit overcast but chilly and crisp.
