I cant buy. Its been going on for 3 days now!

Ive been trying to buy things on eBay, I confirm my bid, click pay now, click confirm payment them I am sent to a search page?When I try to use the send money feature by paypal, it doesnt work either and Im not wanting an UID as I like a nice track record.

1. I click confirm payment

2. I log in

3. I cant pay and sent to a search page instead?

Thats NOT a temporary thing as its been happening for three days now. I tried deleting cache, cookies etc... and tried another browser. Whos to blame here. I would tend to blame paypal, but both companies when contacted will probably just blame each other and fob me off. What do you guys think I should do and which company should I contact-eBay or paypal?

contact both of them and ask politely if there's a problem with your account or is there a technical problem at the moment

Think Ill redirect the seller here to show that I will actually pay, just paypal/eBay are being annoying

OP has tried that, why not try another PC?

Just another thought. Try sending money to a friend (they can refund later) then at least you will know whether it is a purely PayPal issue if it doesn't go through either.

hmm i've had problems logging into paypal. keeps saying my details are not correct when i know they are ARGHH. takes me several attempts to get in

Have you tried phoning ebay/paypal?

Im not a big fan of phoning large companies as Ill just get fobbed off with bad customer service. This is why, when my VM receiver started to freeze, I started investigating myself. I dont mind emailing them though. I still have to do that
