If you have a valid key for Office 2007, then just download the equivalent trial edition (e.g. Home & Student trial for Home & Student licence) from the Microsoft website and enter in your key to convert it into a full version. Saves messing about with external or virtual drives.

As there is no CD drive, there may be times where you may require a virtual optical drive.
