Jenny, what can I say, I agree!

Whilst the products look lovely and no doubt they last a long time, they are very very expensive. The handsoap dispenser always makes me giggle, because a kandoo bottle does exactly the same if you refill it - though perhaps not everyone wants a green frog bottle!

I do have one of the oven gloves though, very useful for the bbq, as it is slightly longer and very thick, but I was given this by a friend who held a party and got it as one of the gifts, she prefers her aga oven gloves!

The parties are generally good fun though and are good for ideas, I'd just recommend shopping around a bit before committing yourself to purchasing anything!

Thanks everyone for your ideas /comments.
At the moment I am swayed by the safe kids knife and the pizza stone.
We used to have a PS but it broke a year or so ago. I do not need a replacement but it is something I know I will use;)
I am not going to spend a fortune just have a laugh and raise some cash for the charity ;)

i love the Pampered Chef stuff. I think it's mno more expensive than Lakeland stuff.

I use the pizza stone for pizza, chips, biscuits, scones, rock cakes, croissants and sausage rolls at christmas.

I like the chopper, i use it to chop nuts for cakes and to put on cereal. I chop onions with it and biscuits for making refridgerato cake.

if you hold a party, you can get some items for free!

also - The Hairy Bikers use the PC batter bowls!

Hi, i love the pampered chef bits and bobs, fav piece being the garlic press. You don't even have to peel the garlic first, and a handy wee bit comes with it to remove the skin when pressed so no smelly fingers. Also does ginger, chilli as well great for stir fry.
Enjoy you party great nights craic.:j

Agree with jennyjelly - check Lakeland (or even Tesco's/Wilkos) doesn't have a similar gadget at a fraction of the price. For the kind of money they flog their stoneware at you could buy Le Creuset - and I know what I'd rather have!

I can recommend the baking tray - its £9.95 and very very good. Its heavy and dosn't warp or buckle.

I'll admit its the most expensive one I've ever bought :o and I thought you would have to pay far more than that for a decent one.

    Hi

I love Pampered Chef products - there are actually loads of products under £10 and they are all lovely. I love my chopper - if you only use it for onions it is worth its weight as you do not get any of the fumes, but you can use it for all sorts -nuts, choc, chilli, carrots, meat etc etc. I also love the sotneware, but I would reccomend getting a dish as they are far more versatile - you can do lasagnas, puddings, cakes, tray bakes, full english in them. I fyou have kids the small bar pan is great - about £17 I think 0 I use it every day for fish fingers, chciekn breasts, suasages. The deluxe mini muffine tray and tart shaper are fab for making tarts, mini cheesecakes, mini yourshires etc tec. I think many people are quick to discount PC as they look at the first few pages of a catalogue where the most expensive items are and lose interest....Have a fab time - I know you wil!

Also of course you do not need to spend anything - I have never felt pushed or pressured and that is how it should be.

The soap suds bottle has saved me a fortune in soap. I've posted about it here.

I also bought the £27 chopper. What a waste of money!
