Which network for a family?
My son wants a mobile for xmas and no doubt in a few years his younger brother will too.
Is there a network which will allow us to make free calls/texts to each other if we are all on same 1? pay as you go?
Don`t want him not to be able to call me as he has used all his credit.
Sorry not into phones.
Thanks

With 3 (providing reception is ok where you go), you can get free Skype calls with the right 3g phones on pay and go.
O2 do a family and friends bolt on (but I think its for pay monthly customers, not sure).
The texting is usually linked to what you pay - or when you top up you get an allowance for a period so not much help there.0 -
Vodafone also do a Family bolt on. For £5 per month for 4 people or £7 for 6 people you can call each other day or night (up to 60mins at a time). You can use this with a mixture of pay monthly and pay as you go plans.0
