The Lloyds Vantage says you have to pay in at least £1000 a month.
You only have to move £1000 between the accounts 1-2, 2-3, 3-1, - no new money is required :D

(having just added 3 x Halifax Reward accounts my £1000 now has to visit 7 Vantage(setup before the 3 acc restriction) and 3 Reward accounts on its way back to Vantage Account 1. All in a mater of a minute thanks to LTSBs long awaited introduction of FP monthly net interest approx £155 - I think that's an annual rate of > 4.7% gross)

You can set up a standing order to move the £1K between Vantage accounts, but over to the Halifax is risky by SO: if the Lloyds to Halifax SO does not go by FP (not guaranteed) you might find your reward account overdrawn if you have a SO out again. Safer to manually transfer into/out of Halifax.

7 standing orders -7 security phone calls - no thanks, I can cope with a couple of minutes once a month :D
    But thanks for the thought

    ???????????????
I didn't get any phone calls? Did it on line, 5 mines, job done! Then no need to ever do anything again.

    But maybe the policy's changed.

If you setup a new payee or standing order you know get an immediate automated phone call and have to key in the security number on screen (after you've listened to all the spiel). I suppose its a good security check but it drives me bananas.

I just went into a branch and asked for 3, but I believe you can do it online. When they asked me what i wanted them for I said to collect fivers. There was no problem - the lady said she couldn't suggest it but as I asked it was OK. I understand after 1/11 you can only have 1 sole and 1 joint - so go for it.

You can apply via internet banking - the additional accounts can be opened in minutes.
