Rise in National Lottery Euromillions ticket prices?

Grrrrrrr,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I'm fuming 'cos apparently from 7th November, the price of a Euromillion ticket goes up to £2. As if we weren't being taken for enough of a ride already.

I planning to boycott Euromillions from now on ..... and if all of us that ever play do the same, they'll surely climbdown from this preposterous and unwarranted increase.

Does anyone feel the same way about this?

Of course millions won't boycott it  pointless protest. People who use the same numbers week after week would crap themselves with worry, so they will still be stupid enough to do the lottery.

    SIMPLES!
  • It's simply a means of providing all customers with an additional opportunity to waste more money in a more complicated manner to the greater good of the lottery promoters themselves.

Better not to buy than to cry, methinks.

They need to raise the ticket prices, the jackpot of £110m was a bit piddly.

It's a waste of money whatever amount you pay.

The prize that has odds of 551 to 1 costs you €2 and wins you €28
At the bookies a bet with odds of 551 to 1 that costs €2 would win you about €1000.

but at the bookies you don't have the dream/chance of winning £100million

You're about 5 times more likely to become the prime minister than win the top EuroMillions prize.
