Business or Private Broadband?

Hi,

Im looking into combining phone & broadband at work (v.small business). I have noticed that different rates apply for business packages.

However, I have entered post code (business park) and landline on talktalk and they say im eligible for their home phone & bb package (which is significantly cheaper!)

Is there any problem with this? fraudulent?

Business packages tend to have a higher SLA for telephone - and higher compensation. Broadband tends to have lower contention. You get what you pay for, essentially. I ran a business on a 'home' line, it's not a problem. Just you have lesser avenues to whinge through when things go wrong.

Many broadband T&C's allow business use by a sole trader. Depends how big your small business is...
In reality they don't give a monkey's, but don't expect them to offer you millions in compensation as a private user if your email goes down and you lose that huge order...
