Makes me wonder why the real Graham White Solicitors don't do something about it. It's obvious the PPC know about the real Graham White and are using that name so that when people google 'Graham White Solicitors', the real firm's website comes up which leads unsuspecting victims to believe that this is the solicitor who sent them the letter.

The chap who pretends to be Graham White is actually moonlighting from his real job with a local council in the London area. I wonder if his employers are aware of this fact?

A solicitor may practice under under any trading name.It is difficult to see from the letterhead examples but it seems to show:
    Graham White
    Solicitors
It appears that posters are referring to a firm practicing under a similar name of "Graham White & Co"

Has anybody written to the Law Society to see if the signiatory Michael Sobell is listed on the roll and is entitled to practice at all, and if so, under what name?

anybody care to post a copy of these "scam letters" so that we can read clearer?

Just found this on another website:-

    Michael Sobell Solicitor
    Manor House
    Lavender Park Road
    West Byfleet
    Surrey
    KT14 6ND

    Tel 01932 332020

Regulated by the solicitors Regulation Authority Registered Number 272121 - Graham White Solicitors is a trading name of Michael Soball, Solicitor.

    And:-

I just phoned the real 'Graham White' solicitors, and they said they get 5-6 calls every month regarding these phonies. She passed my details onto the MD who is getting sick of it, so is hopefully going to do something about it. I fear that they won't be able to do much though, as one is 'Graham White' and the real one is 'Graham White & Co'

I see the website quoted uses both spellings. Neither of which have an "R" in them

The Michael Sobell/Graham White PPC scam is well documented if you Google:

    http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&source=hp&q=Michael+Sobell+Graham+White+fine&btnG=Google+Search&meta=cr%3DcountryUK%7CcountryGB&aq=f&oq=

This such a common scam, it's shocking it is allowed to continue, TBH.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I am intrigued by the ignoring principle that appears to be adopted on these repetetive threads.

Is ignoring correspondance the most effective method, is there not another remedy that could be more effective?
