Evening all
Snags well done on getting the painting done
Bookie hope you are a bit warmer, Ive put the heating on, can't afford it but we are all so cold I gave in
Sammy would your leak in damproof not be covered under your NHBC certificate?
Ive been rather productive this afternoon and Sammy your comments earlier were so right and I don't realise I am doing it.
yes probably would be covered as the house is only 9 years old...seriously thought about it for all of 5 seconds...the only thing that put me off was I would have to find the paperwork and then put the kitchen on hold till they came round and assessed the damage - not easy to do with no kitchen, cooker or water....
What comments are you on about....five bottles of budweiser and I can't be bothered to look back....:rotfl:and am too !!!!ed to remember...Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

No Kayleigh hun it's not just you, this is one of my HUGE bugbears about depression - the hoops you have to jump through to get help.
When I had PND after having Ryan, just ringing the surgery was a huge achievement. But I had many aborted attempts because of the barrage of questions I got from the receptionist. Several times I just hung up and it was days or weeks until I dared ring again.
I don't object to them asking a few questions, but when it's obvious the patient is becoming anxious and tearful, it's time to just stop asking and book the damn appointment.
Same with your forms - if you could cope with ringing round, chasing things up, organising things, you probably wouldn't have depression at all.
this is when i realise I am very very lucky.. I had the most amazing support when I had PND from my doctor.....Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Evening,
Kayleigh, I know how you feel, it drives me mad too. When I first moved into this flat I tried to get help from social services, but they insisted on me having a GP, which I was getting sorted but needed the help then, not in 3 months when my notes got through to them. Chances are your old doc wont have your notes anymore anyway, they'll be being transferred over.
I totally understand about the phone thing too, I hate using it it takes me about a week to work up to phoning for a GP appointment.
Bunny, that's great news!
No-one turned up at the book club, I asked about putting posters up but the guy got confused and so did I.. he said I could put them up but I think I'll go in during the day one week and speak to a manager.
Then went to asda, forgot one of the things I wanted, they didn't have some other stuff, and I ended up with chocolate and bacon that I wasn't going to get.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -

I only registered with them this evening so hopefully, the old doctor's should still have my notes. If not, I'll just tell them they've already sent them off and they need to see me anyway. I need to push as hard as I can to get things sorted during the times when I'm feeling ok. But I won't be about to do much pushing if I don't get some sleep.
Thanks for listening to me rant tonight, it really helps.
I'll talk to you all tomorrow.

Beanie
I received a couple of baby basket gifts when I'd had Evie and was touched by the thought that went into making them. The things I used up first in the baskets were cotton wool balls, baby massage oil and spit-up bibs. I'd only bought plain white muslin clothes but the prettiest ones I've got were part of the baby baskets (pink hearts, spots and stars) so pretty, but I would never have bought them for myself.
Six months after her birth I'm finally using the weaning spoons and weaning bowls (they are available in packs of four from asda for a couple of quid) which is nice cos it's almost like they've just given me ANOTHER useful gift!
