The new doctor we saw couldn't understand why he's been left in pain for so long...hello! isn't that what I keep saying!!!! He's having a camera tomorrow or Friday.

Hope you get some answers, hun :A

We just had a delicious sausage and black-eye-bean casserole. I'd like a glass of red now, but have to pick DD up from Leeds at 10  I'll be taking DS and his friend to Explorer Scouts soon, too. Then I'll do some jobs to get ahead for tomorrow, and sit down with a cup of tea

    HHC 7:30 - 8:00 anyone :D

I'm in, starting DS2's bath at 7:15 and carrying on through to 8pm - hope I can talk DH into washing his hair and getting him out.
  • Holly - fab news, nearly like 'free' money as you've been without it that long and coped. What a relief especially with the dreaded 'Happy Holidays' coming up!!
Mudders - WTG you, glad you seem to be getting somewhere at long last. I can remember when DS was 14 and rushed in for gangrenous (sp) appendititus (sp again!!) he was told by a doctor no older than 15 that he couldn't have a sip of water for painkillers but she could shove a painkiller killer suppository up his behind, funnily ennough he said no, so she said "well you could do it yourself"!!! Errr, no he's 14. When the daft mare left the nurse just tutted and said she would ring another doctor to get permission for him to have a sip of water so he could have pain killers. He went in at 11 am and they finally operated on him at MIDNIGHT - we were lucky we didn't lose him. Huge hugs to you and yours xx

Mudders - Well done and keeping everything crossed that the new doctor can find the problem, I assumed you'd seen a paediatric doctor ages ago.

Holly - great news on the nursery money

Off to tidy the kitchen now before getting DS3 ready and in bed before I go back out to collect DS2 - at least it is only a few minutes drive away now.

Go on then, I'll get the ironing board out and do a spot of ironing to move me away from the quality street I am eating at a super speedy rate.

Then a cup of tea, wash up and pop the roasted beetroot in the fridge.

Ho hum off I go to make a start a bit early!

Well done Rosepink, how did you sit on the sofa before all that cleaning???
I'm starting to wonder that myself now! Next bit will be this which is the area between the tv and front door. Some of it is waiting to be thrown away next time someone goes outside, like that compost caddy (discovered under sofa half full of very ancient veggies ) and some of it is stuff I just don't know what to do with - those two bags are full of "sort later" stuff. Well later has arrived!

Holly, that’s great news about the money!

Feefee hope you and your OH get over your colds soon

Mummyof5 glad to hear DS won’t have to have a checkup for so long, that’s fab!

Froddy I’m glad you’ve been signed off, give your head time to rest

Mudbath glad you are making progress and have got someone to listen at last! It’s nice when someone medical finally agrees with you! I want a chocolate orange, stop mentioning them!

AJ and family – big hugs, it must be a scary and horrible time
