Good for you Mudbath. Everything crossed for you, and for GunsandBanjos. Awful when littles are ill.

Mudders - well done on standing your ground. I hope the camera finds the root of the problem

Am just waiting for my dinner to finish cooking (ham, celery and leek cheese topped with sliced baby potatoes) then I'll demolish. I wish I hadn't agreed to the meeting to be 7.30pm - such an awkward time for me - it means I either have dinner really early or really late! Tonight, I've opted for early.

But hey, the things we do for the community.... I'm hopeful it won't last too long. It's only an agenda meeting (i.e. discussing what's on the agenda for a community meeting end of next month). That shouldn't take more than an hour. If it does, I'll just have to play chairman! (I'm secretary).

    Well done Mudbath xx

Can't do the dishes in the sink, OH found why it was leaking.....it has been stabbed, twice, with what looks like the pointy end of a knife....also have "lost" my bowl that I use to empty the fish tank....so a trip to poundies in the morning is called for!!!! Luckily there is no welsh class this week or next!!!!

Have the mat from the bathroom and DD's room in the wash for the second time.....Hate sick!!!!

Will have to do the rest of the lists tomorrow xx
  • :T:TMudbath well done! - marvellous strategy for not going in the waiting room but staying until appointment had been fixed. Hope they can do something quickly now after all your DS has suffered.

Quillion so impressed with your weight loss! Wow :j:j:j

Flying wise I have caught up with the thread :p and done dailies, been to the dentist and that is it, couldn't get going :o and I have been so close to getting a star. Mega effort tomorrow!!!

    Have a good evening everyone

Well the appointment was useless. I got there and saw a lovely doctor who listened to DS's history (5 weeks of every appointment, pain, sleepless night, no school etc.) only to be told he needed to see a paediatrician not a surgeon - I HAVE BEEN SAYING THAT FOR WEEKS!!!!!! The next appointment he could give us is in four weeks time to which I said we would not wait that long and we wouldn't leave the clinic until we had an appointment within the next 7 days. I was asked to wait in the waiting room which I refused to do (my theory being if I held up the clinic they might do something!!). I was right - we were slotted into a clinic at 430 today. He has to have more tests tomorrow. The new doctor we saw couldn't understand why he's been left in pain for so long...hello! isn't that what I keep saying!!!! He's having a camera tomorrow or Friday.

    Ok, i'll breath now!

Flying....made tea and put it in the dishwasher and emptied the frogs!

I need to go and lie down in a darkened room but instead I opened the spare chocolate orange I bought yesterday (needed 3 but bogof meant I got 4) and had a couple of slices! Mmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well done for standing your ground, hopefully now they will get to the bottom of it:T

On a plus point we have now finished the kitchen completely :j
