I have been signed off til the end of half term which is a relief as I can take time to get myself sorted. Work said they were expecting it! GP says I need to give the ADs longer to kick in as I've only had them a couple of weeks - and reassured me that I'm not going mad!!

I havent done much past the basics since Monday. Taking babysteps to get my self back into it.
AND OMG..... I have just agreed to take on another dog!!!!!:eek:
My freind who lives along the road is having to rehome her 2 gorgeous Border Collies. She has asked me if I can take the older one. Shes a gorgeous dog, really placid, loves kids and cuddles.
My poor freind just doesnt have the time to take them out and give them the attention they need. It's heartbreaking really, her dogs are her babies! Even tho she has 3 kids!!! hehe.

Anyhoo, not taking her for a few days, let my freind get her head around it. So probably wont get her till the weekend.

    OMG OMG..... 2 DOGS!!:rotfl:

You can still make a list - it might help you to write some of it down, and also to prioritise things!

TOOTS - can I have a star for today please? :j :T :D Fankooooooooo

Just had a deaf salesman come to my door (he shoved a card through the gap) and have been contemplating how he knew I said no thanks (I was very polite!) without me shaking my head and not being able to see my mouth (I usually open the door with the chain on and just poke my head round slightly when DH not here)..... maybe I'm missing something?

Anyway, house is looking sparkling so thanks to everyone, especially Toots, Pigpen and Soappie for doing this week after week and motivating the waifs and strays (e.g. moi ! :o) when we let things get on top of us :A.

Hope to get everything done tomorrow and I might show DH this thread ready for Friday when me and DD1 go away - you never know he might just fly for a day or two ;):p

Having a nice relaxing evening, might do a bit of packing but other than that, not much planned at all. Just hope I can stay away from the biscuit tin out of boredom ! Well done on the weight loss Quillion, hope to be there at some stage too - it's very admirable and speaking from someone who's yo-yo'd all her life, I know how hard it is ! :o

Ohhhhhh kids have done their rooms too so I might just be ahead of the game tomorrow/Friday (hoovered and polished too - they must want something  :rotfl:).

Hope everyone is having a good day, will try and catch up properly later. Hugz for those feeling a bit glum xx
    :jWeight loss to date 1st 11.5lb :j

Well the appointment was useless. I got there and saw a lovely doctor who listened to DS's history (5 weeks of every appointment, pain, sleepless night, no school etc.) only to be told he needed to see a paediatrician not a surgeon - I HAVE BEEN SAYING THAT FOR WEEKS!!!!!! The next appointment he could give us is in four weeks time to which I said we would not wait that long and we wouldn't leave the clinic until we had an appointment within the next 7 days. I was asked to wait in the waiting room which I refused to do (my theory being if I held up the clinic they might do something!!). I was right - we were slotted into a clinic at 430 today. He has to have more tests tomorrow. The new doctor we saw couldn't understand why he's been left in pain for so long...hello! isn't that what I keep saying!!!! He's having a camera tomorrow or Friday.

    Ok, i'll breath now!

Flying....made tea and put it in the dishwasher and emptied the frogs!

I need to go and lie down in a darkened room but instead I opened the spare chocolate orange I bought yesterday (needed 3 but bogof meant I got 4) and had a couple of slices! Mmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Rosepink - great piccies.
Holly - that's fantastic, i'm so pleased for you xx

Consultations done, DS2 always gets great feed back lovely child that he is.

Just cooking dinner and have footie training run to do and DS3 homework.

I really could do with a HHI this evening but I'll see how I feel once DS3 is in bed.
