Thank you Jinky and Rosepink, and Wilf too, I seem to be subscribed now. I don't know why I find these things so difficult! I'll probably be asking the same question next week.....

It did rain so the washing is back in and draped round. I only did it today because they said it would be dry today and rain tomorrow.

    Hiya
Anyone for a quick HHC 145 till 215? I've got an hour whilst DS is at a friends house and seeing as my house is a pit I think i'll be more relaxed later if I do some tidying.

So far i've washed both dog beds and then run the washing machine on empty, been to the doctor who've 'lost' a prescription DS needed - they know the doctor signed it but it's not in the collection box, taken the two prescriptions that they did have to the chemist for pick up later, walked dogs.....so, now I need to clean/tidy/chuck!

Greenbee - I think I missed that things were so good in your new job. Hugs to you and hope you get it sorted soon.

LL - Hope you're ok honey xx

GnB - massive hugs to you and your LO xx

Hugs to everyone else.....right I need to clean! xx

the fire brigade advise all rooms with highsleepers including bunk beds have a smoke alarm in the room and also 1 on the landing.. 2 if it is split level landing and also in the room next to the kitchen and in the hallway.

I didn't know either until we had the fire last year and they were installed everywhere!

Obviously smoke rises so the person in the top bunk will have suffocated to death by the time the smoke alarm on the landing goes off.. in theory..

I don't know if anyone has already mentioned that the fire brgade will go to your house and do a fire escape and safety check. We booked ours last week and they say they will make us a priority as I have mobility problems. You can just phone your local station and they will give you details. I know pigpen doesn't need this advice but someone on here might.
