Hi
I am currently considering working for these.
There isn't much info on their site, it just asks for the £25 and they'll send £100 worth of books and it is up to me to sell them at playgroups etc...I know their genuine as I read the books to my little one already.
What if I don't sell them do I have to pay them the rest of the £75? I thought it'd be more like Avon and they'd be a catalogue, does anyone else work for them? Any advice appreciated and would I have to declare my extra earnings to the tax people and how do I do that?
Thanks
Tez

There are masses of posts about this very subject on this forum. Take a quick look. When dealing with the CSA its important to note that it is commonly accepted as unfit for purpose, and by default this also means the staff are unfit for purpose.0

Hi Tez
You can get more information from any Usborne Organiser, if you contact head office for more information they will put you in touch with someone or you can ask any of us on the Usborne threads for info.
Basically if you are correct, if you don't sell £100 worth of books in your first 12 weeks you will be invoiced for the remaining £75.
You can sell wherever you'd like. You get training and support if you want it, they are leaflets and catalogues you can use alongside the downloads on our website.
You do have to declare yourself as self employed but you should be doing that with Avon anyway, you'd need to speak to the tax office but they usually do free works shops to help your business.0
