You big bairn! :p You could just have danced about the floor like an idiot without the ice cream cone in your hand...same effect, cheaper cost. :rotfl:

(Actually I would quite like this too :o) :D

Well in between being on here and bumping my gums, I've managed to get another coat of emulsion done so things have moved a step closer. It's slightly annoying because the room was all painted ready to go but the joiner put dents in the walls and dirty marks everywhere when he was shifting the doors and skirting etc so I had to go fill, sand and repaint it all.

And because I'm not a painter & decorator to trade, I've painted the new oak skirting accidentally too in places so I'll need to sand that off and recoat that now as well. Give me a sheet of plasterboard anyday! :D

    *waves to saz* ;):D

Btw Maz.....showing off as decided by eldest? :D

No.. he was showing off too apparently (he was drunk as well)

Am feeling very 'odd' atm, my boy has gone :( and i've spent the day with him and his father having a nice old time and it's all gone a bit flat now.
Also worried about not getting more hours in work ( dont really want them but need the cash ;) )

    Evening you two :D

carp day all around methinks so i`m up for a few pints  chance would be a fine thing

Busy at work and on the way home i checked the bank balance and found that the bill for the new CC hadn`t gone out of the bank

I rang them when i got in as i`d set up a DD to take care of it and they hadn`t recieved it. Cue panicked call to the bank and was on the phone for over 40 mins trying to pay it and getting transferred from one dept to another - in the end i jumped in the car and went to the branch. Not my idea of fun in a packed shopping centre on a Friday afternoon i can tell ya!

The CC peeps did say that i`ll get a late payment charge etc on the next bill but to ring them and as a gesture of goodwill they`ll refund it  wonder how easy that will be when the time comes

Stayed in the garden until dusk, picked lots of tomatoes and peppers from the greenhouse and a carrier bag of runner beans so tomorrow will be spent chopping and freezing when i get home.

Feel a bit better now about the job situation, it will take me a while to work everything out but we`ll get there in the end.

Mazzers - Hope that you manage to pick up some more hours soon, prep for the big event in December will start soon so everything should get busier.

Alias - Aw i`m sure that your DD will realise when she`s a bit older that you wanted to make everything nice for her cos you love her so much.

Just been looking at the SW leaflet thats stuck to the front of the fridge, that won`t happen now so i`m concentrating on portion sizes :D Today i`ve eaten 2 thin slices of hm bread with hm pate for brekkie, 2 more slices of bread and a tin of beans for dinner and tea was chicken, stuffing, carrots, onions, jackets and runner beans. I`m snacking on dried fruit so i don`t think i`ve done too badly considering i`ve been up since 4am.

I`m gonna browse a bit and then turn in with a book as DH has some horror dvd on telly and i can`t be bothered with trying to catch up with the plot.

    Have a good evening peeps.

    SD
Planning on starting the GC again soon :p

Well you lot are no company at all these days are you?

Will I be smiling smugly to myself tomorrow if I do manage to get restarted then? I can just see it now....

alias: well I've started! Wish me luck

alias:good luck pet, fingers crossed this time.

alias: cheers alias, will try my hardest, getting close to Xmas now can't really keep cheating cos if I do I'll be able to deputise for the big fat man.

alias: lol alias, as long as you suit red you'll be fine.

    alias: cheeky git

alias: gotta go there's tuna with my name on it

    alias: bye then.

Now....see how boring that is?! Where are you all? :(

Sweet...you're too quiet, is hubby ok after his hospital app? Are you still hormonal? Have you lost your SW book and you're scared to tell daisy? :D

sarah......still thinking about you and Mum. x

Mercy, no idea if you ever float about here anymore but waves just in case.

    Maz, you sleeping? ;):D

Eric: you whacked yourself with your cone yet? :D

SD, they're usually quite good refunding charges for a first offence. :D

I'm fighting with Hoseasons just now as the bloke who took the booking told me to send in my invoice and they'd refund the electricity charges...did that and no-one seems to know anything about it and wont pay me. It's *only* £30 but they are a huge company and if they can't/wont cough up then they will never see another penny from me or mine.

    Oh well....suppose that's it then.....

    *feels lonely today* :(
