  • I'm really sorry to hear of your loss and my thoughts are with you. I know how devastating this is. We lost one of our cats a couple of months ago, we think she was hit by a car although we"ll never know for sure. She was only a year old. I've got to say though that I found posting on this forum and reading the comments of other posters a great comfort though. Hope this helps and am thinking of you.

    Catastrophic!

It will get better with time. When ours died a couple of years ago we couldnt bear to spread his ashes anywhere, now they are in the wardrobe somewhere.

I'm soo sorry to hear about your cat's passing. My 14 year old tabby,Orbit Mog,died at the start of September after a long illness with his kidneys.I was so shocked I,a big burly ex-serviceman,was in constant tears.
He just fell off the bed, crawled into the hall & had a fit & died.
He's now buried in the back garden in a place that will become a nice flower & veg patch to remember him.
A few days after Orbit died,I went to Assisi Animal Sancturary & now have a 3 year old black & white cat called Daisy.getting her really helped me get over Orbit.

  • So very sorry for your loss.
He may have been poisoned by a cruel neighbour that is precious about their garden, its hard to believe but there are people that really are that low in this world.
A post-mortem would be the only way to know for sure and they are very expensive, just short of £300 when I had one done on a kitten about 5 years ago.

Oh patchwork cat I'm so very, very sorry.

I know it's not much consolation at all, but at least it happened where you could find him.

    ((((hugs to you))))
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D
