Hi
Does anyone work for these people?
I got the details of Clix Research from money saving expert and joined but a lot of the questions are really personal like what car I own. When I am going on holiday and what appliances I have in my home. I feel like I am writing a list for a burglar!
Anyone had any experience with this website?

Do you mean has anyone who has ever taken part in one of their surveys been robbed? When dealing with the CSA its important to note that it is commonly accepted as unfit for purpose, and by default this also means the staff are unfit for purpose.0 -
Lol, no, but it does read that way!
I just meant are they a genuine company or not and if so why are they asking when or when I am not home???

How specific are they asking? which month? or which specfic date?
I could understand them asking which month because Im sure that would be useful market research but perhaps specific dates is taking it to far. When dealing with the CSA its important to note that it is commonly accepted as unfit for purpose, and by default this also means the staff are unfit for purpose.0 -
Hi
They are asking the actual date!
Also what car do I have, do I work full time, do I have a computer, toaster, dishwasher etc...

Along with lots of other people on here, I do cosmetics research with them. They're fine. Somewhere there are other threads, http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=49924&highlight=cosmetic+research&page=124 is one of them. It's not a way of earning extra income, but the products could save you money, for example at the moment I'm testing day cream, night cream and some skin supplements for a month.

Why dont you just put down that you arnt going on holiday? or give tehm false dates? They will get a shock when the start breaking in and find you sitting watching eastenders. When dealing with the CSA its important to note that it is commonly accepted as unfit for purpose, and by default this also means the staff are unfit for purpose.0 -

Er, I'd rather no one broke in, lol0 -
I've been registered with them for a long time.
They test products that you would use on holiday, so if they know you are going away, they will offer you the chance to take stuff away to test.
They also offer household products to test, hence the questions about appliances and stuff.
It's not compulsary to fill in all the details, so if you feel unhappy, just miss those sections out. Here I go again on my own....0
