    I think if you're formally appealing then the discount period is deferred. Hopefully someone will be able to confirm that.

    To be honest I don't think you've got a case, though...

    Most councils operate that. If you appeal or request info, they usually give you 2 weeks from the date of their response.

    And I agree with the above, you won't stand much chance but bets of luck!

    I've now had a reply from the council and they won't let me off, as I thought BUT.......they've made a mistake in their letter by stating I still have 14 days to pay the fine of £25 but the original fine was actually £35!!!!! So thats a result of sorts eh?????
