was on Vodafone, can anyone tell me if this will be locked, if it is, is it possible to unlock myself(with help)? and can anyone provide the code to do it please?

It can be unlocked by Voda. Some phone shops might have the right hardware/software to do it. Don't know what they might charge though, sorry...0

I have a BB 8320 on Orange. I looked into the costs of getting it unlocked and I think they wanted something like £40-£50. Even 3rd party unlocking companies wanted about the same. IIRC the codes are unique to each handset so no one elses code would work with yours.Bankrupt 07/10/2009

Sorry for the delay in replying i hope you have managed to get your Blackberry unlocked, if you have'nt you will need to speak the network and ask for a Network Unlock Code there is usually a charge for this and is mailed within 28 days. Once this has been put in you will be able to use any SIM card.

I would have thought that if you have paid and your contract has expired then you now own the phone? therefore you should be able to use it as you wish without coughing up more money?
I would be tempted to try and put your new sim in and see if it works - after all it's free to do this before paying...0 -

dont go third party to unlock a blackberry it costs stupid amountsthings arent the way they were before, you wouldnt even recognise me anymore- not that you knew me back then
