can anybody tell me if theres any way to get a contract with a poor credit history?

You could just try applying for one; if your credit history is poor but not horrid, they might accept you provided you pay a deposit. There's also an element of luck involved.

Try the 3 network i have a ccj and they approved me. There tariffs are quite good as well if you go through there web site for £25pm i get 150 mintues talk and 750 txt messages. I think they may have incresed this now?

only problem if you keep on applying and don't get one is that it goes on your credit file, which knocks you back even more.

https://www.utilitywarehouse.co.uk offer a contract phone to ppl with poor credit but i think there contracts are like 24 to 36 months.. and they don't offer much in the way of free texts and minutes.. if any !!

before applying for anymore i'd re-think your options etc not sure how old you are but maybe parents or a real good friend would take one out for you ? its a bummer i know as i'm bankrupt and in the same boat.. my payg is costing me the best part of £30 a month so i know i'd benefit from a contract but unable to get one.. all the best and keep me posted if you find something..
