  • This item should be covered by your house buildings insurance (assuming you have such) so the price should not necessarily be such a great concern.

discontinued bathrooms.co.uk may be able to help in supplying a replacement ... if Ideal Standard cannot.

:spam: and not very well disguised spam with that user name and a company with the same name, reported.

I understand the concern [ ...much of my time is spent removing spam from a major UK AV technical website ] but this was not spam.

I searched extensively to try to help on this matter and found that link.

[Pointlessly in this case it seems unfortunately]

I had an interest as I have this same suite and had to replace my seat some years ago.
It was searching for other parts that brought me to this thread.

Look at the dates, the post that I reported as spam was one posted twelve months after your original post and has been removed, if you read my post you will see that it was a post by someone with the same user name as the website/company they were promoting.

I did not quote it as that would have just left the spam post repeated in my post.

    Apologies - I misunderstood.
I did check the dates but there are no limitations on when spam may be reported - The name issue did puzzle me... but my name sounds like a trading name.
    All's well.
