This item should be covered by your house buildings insurance (assuming you have such) so the price should not necessarily be such a great concern.

I understand the concern [ ...much of my time is spent removing spam from a major UK AV technical website ] but this was not spam.
I searched extensively to try to help on this matter and found that link.

I had an interest as I have this same suite and had to replace my seat some years ago.

Look at the dates, the post that I reported as spam was one posted twelve months after your original post and has been removed, if you read my post you will see that it was a post by someone with the same user name as the website/company they were promoting.
I did not quote it as that would have just left the spam post repeated in my post.0 -

I did check the dates but there are no limitations on when spam may be reported - The name issue did puzzle me... but my name sounds like a trading name.
