It was a sponsored swim with our lions club, 50% goes to their charities and 50% goes to our charity. Was good fun actually and onviously got an hours exercise in too!

Not so much tidying out for Christmas but just trying to make things more accessible. Im still undecided on what to get B, have pj's a book, some crayons/pens so far but Boss has said I can order some lovely bits from a suplier at cost price...Mum has said she will spend £50 on some of it but I am still toying with the idea of getting her a cheapy telescope to look at stars and moon (she is obsessed)

Ahhh I didnt realise it was a sponsored swim. I guess that made it a bit more fun/exciting. Ahhh I guess childrens toys/stuff gets everywhere after a while. Quite a tough one, other than the moon/stars thing is there anything she has asked for (except the ds) or is she a child that is just happy with anything? Btw I cant remember if I told you but that moon in my room that Bunny mentioned is now half price in Argos @ £12, also the planetarium is half price too, if thats any help...

I shouldn't have read the news about Tube price increase. This is mad. I wonder what's going to be the effect on the monthly travelcard :(

Its a nightmare and this year is the first year that she asks for everything that comes on the television. I keep saying to her, if she can remember and ask for the same thing the next day and she shows that she really would like it I will put it on a list...so far she hasn't asked for the same thing 2 days in a row :rotfl:well apart from a DS computer and she isn't getting one of those! She is pretty much happy with anything though and this will be the last year of that I think!
Thanks for the info on that moon, might consider that too
