You're clearly not as advanced as you seem to think, ISTL.

Re-read my post, you seem to have had difficulty understanding it.

Clearly more advanced than you appear to be carolt.

Explain why someone would cheer on a recession and unemployment for millions just to make a few grand on a house as per your correction.

As I said, your correction does not make sense

Not only did she screw up, she's too ignorant to realise how badly she screwed up.

She may well be single handedly responsible for the dumbing down of a whole generation of children.

    Shocking.

    Which she?

Are you referring to Thatcher? I'd tend to agree.

Can't think of any current she's with that kind of grip on the nation's children.

    Do tell.

You'd think no-one normal would do that, wouldn't you. But Hamish does. He writes posts in which he cheers the thought of other people being permanently unable to find a home, on at least a daily basis - usually somewhat more.

I don't think that's normal. We all know he bought at the wrong time, but to have that much hatred towards others too canny to share his fate is just sordid, really.

Which fundamentals would these be then?

The only fundamental that really counts in market direction is Human will.
Honestly there is so mmuch wealth around now, it astounds me. Come and sit with me for a day and I'll show you. Just ordinary London folk with so much asset wealth.

All this Keynesian economics thought is deeply flawed. To solve a huge debt problem and huge asset bubbles you simply don't make it cheaper to borrow more.

We will keep it simple. All the debt is in the West and all the money is in the East. All these so called London folk with so much asset wealth is based on overinflated assets supported by cheap credit. This trade deficiet can't last it will just cause mass inflation especially as countires such as china start to buy their own products and become less reliant on exporting them.

Oh by the way. Shut it. carolt has more brains in her little finger than you have in your head. Best go and have a drink with you other Scottish mate, Gordon. Have little whisper in his ear hole and make sure your mortgage doesn`t go through the roof.

As usual carol, you are wrong.

I cheer the thought of peoples investments paying off. I cheer the thought of pensioners being able to downsize and have a comfortable retirement with a bit of spending money. I cheer the thought of employment rising. I cheer the thought of millions of people not being trapped in negative equity. And I cheer the thought of the recession ending, misery being alleviated, and economic growth resuming.
    I don't think that's normal.

    Well, you wouldn't, would you?

God forbid we should want prosperity and happiness for the majority.

No, far better that we should pander to the lowest common denominator, reward failure, and live in some socialist superstate where personal wealth and achievement means nothing.

    :rotfl:

I'm up at least £15,000 by buying versus renting since 2007, possibly a lot more.

I'd love to know how I could have gained by waiting until now to buy?

Please enlighten me, oh canny one, seeing as how you seem to be so sure......

Its all part of a longer term market correction which is going to take years.

The party is over. Plan now for the future.

However it was your correction and your words, not Hamish's.
Now your trying to turn it around.

P.S. the bit I highlighted in bold is really ironic. Bit of a pot, kettle black situation going on
