My fault has been re-logged as the ones I already had logged with BT have now both been closed without resolution! I also have a copy of the text of this complaint if you require. I just want this Homehub out of my house and putting back to the service I was on before I ever received it.
Your enquiry reference number: 110627-009722
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
Hi BT rep
Just an update. Had a call over a week ago from someone who assured me they would take ownership of this which I assumed was following my logged complaint above (I thought their name was Adam but I could be wrong). They were issuing me with a new HomeHub that day which would be with me within 3 working days (never turned up) and they would also call me back to see how that was working out and if anything had improved (never called back) and then back dating my charges once the situation had resolved.
So I'm now heading towards month 3 with no change in service.
Any chance you can chase up and find out who was meant to be calling me back?0 -
Am removing my post as I've decided not to chase this any more and just cancel my BT services. I don't ever want to have to talk to the Indian call centre again and this way I don't have to.0

Am getting no joy from BT Openreach now and several failed deadlines being met. Have now e-mailed Otello. Has anyone had any dealings with them in the past?0

BT is a company that is unable to solve problems. They cannot even comply with their own terms and conditions. I have so many issues with BT it is untrue. After 2 years I cannot receive calls to my landline at home due to the mess Open Reach made of my wiring, and yes I am still paying line rental. The CEO does not want to know. My best advice is use an alternative supplier. Also there is no point going to Otelo because they are partially funded by BT and therefore impartial. Remember that all BT is interested in is to separate you from your cash.0

To CHR 15,
I am currently dealing with Otelo regarding a BT Phonebook matter. BT published artwork which I rejected, BT acknowledged rejection, but published just the same. The advertisement has the wrong e-mail and website addresses and therefore not fit for purpose. Otelo have ruled that it was in order for BT to publish false information, and that I still had to pay for the advertisement. Don't be surprised at Otelo's response. The plot thickens!0 -
Hi BT Company Representative
I really hope you can help. I have contacted you via your link. Enquiry Ref : 110722-010959 gives the details.
Our phone has been out of order for over a fortnight and still nothing has been done to resolve this. Call Centres in India tell me something different every time - I just want this fixed please!
Many thanks,
Rachel0 -
does anyone know if you can claim compensation when bt does not repair a line in the time scale stated. Our telephone line was out of order for 8 days, twice we were told the fault was cleared when it wasn't. The initial call to india was a joke, promised a call back which didn't materialise!
Thanks in advance0 -
In the past, if you didn't have your calls forwarded to your mobile whilst the line was out of action you could claim compensation, as long as the line was out of action in excess of a set minimum time. If you chose to have your incoming calls diverted to your mobile then you couldn't claim compensation.
This may have changed.0 -
Have been with BT For 3 Years, I signed up for a 12 month contract.
NOT once was we told or made aware that this contract would automatically renew for 12 months
We have never recieved a letter saying that the contract would be renewing & I would never have taken out the initial contract with them had I been aware of this
I have changed my supplier and Been charged £67 :mad::mad:
Im disgusted that they are allowed to do this, surely a contract is a mutual agreement....I did not agree to this.0 -
I must admit I haven't searched the whole forum but I'm in a bit of hurry to get the details of the Head of BT Customer Services contact details as well as details of the Chairperson, could anyone please advise me? I did have the Chairmans but have lost them!
Thanks0
