yep so technically the charges are on the old scheme then. The new scheme will start the day after your statement was produced.Kavanne

The charging structure changed on 1st October 2009 but as Kavanne has explained as your statement date falls on 16th of the month then from now onwards the new charges apply. However, I think we are missing something. I think it is a business account because the charge is £35.00 for an unpaid item. Business accounts are unaffected by the changes. I hope you were charged £38.00 which is an unpaid fee
Charges come out 21 days after your statement date which I make to be 6th November 2009.
Is is personal or business account?0 -

Go to your/nearest branch and say that the charges have changed as of the 1st October and that it isn't fair that you are charged more because your statement date is different. Ask to be refunded the difference between the £38 and £5 that you should have been charged (and difference with other charges).allycat228 wrote: »monday and thursday this week
If they refuse then ask them to check the charges update on their intranet system. Should tell them that they can refund the difference as a goodwill gesture in the event that a customer complains about this particular situation. HTH
