Nokia 5800
So, christmas is round the corner and my sister wants a new phone, so settles on the nokia 5800.
can anyone tell me, where is a good place too look for a good deal, PAYG, I normally buy phones on ebay, but figured there might be somewhere else, offering a good deal.
would it be best to buy one now, or wait closer to chirstmas? probably not a big difference?
cheers!

They are not cheap to buy new from retailers. Probably about £150 upwards.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0 -
Just got one, but on contract.
I did some research on prices, Cheapest I saw on ebay was £159.00.0 -

I'm currently looking for unlocked NOKIA 5800 for myself. But seems like none of the main retailers [CPW, Phones4U etc.] has them on stock for PAYGHappiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.0

I was thinking of getting an unlocked 5800 off Nokia.com via quidco and there was a further discount code somewhere (but cant remember where from), I think it would have been around £180.
In the end got one on contract vith virgin, sort of like an interest free loan but with added calls, text and internet, am happy with it (and the contract at the moment). I think PAYG is the way to go at the moment however thats if you can afford the initial cost, unless you are not fussy on the phone as there are cheaper ones.:j0 -
If you can get it on PAYG, I'd either look at somewhere reputable, not eBay, as this is an Xmas pressie and you wanna make sure if i goes wrong, you can take it back and get it sorted ,which isn't as easy to do from an eBay purchase.
Also, there are two editions, the Express music edition and the not one. Mine is meant to have Express music, but for some reason it doesn'tThought you may be more likely to go for the one that is. Oh, and also, the one with the blue trim is the newer version, with the red being the older. Think it's to do with firmwares or something, I'm not too sure
