I couldn't even get on to the character website to view anything. Its such a let down ah? Well at least I'll be able to tell Lucy I really really tried for her

Guys keep trying. I just a ball. They are adding more stock. The website was slow but it worked and I got a confirmation!!! Thank goodness for that. I can get my life back!!!!

Keep trying on Character. The site kept crashing on me but I kept going and I managed to get a ball. Didn't think there was a chance but persevered anyway.

Just phoned Argos (using the say no to 0870 site for a 'real' number).

I was lucky enough to get the last house at my store last month, but they have an offer of half price hammy when you buy the house. Problem is there's never any stock in my store.

Lovely lady told me the date my store would have stock, and the lovely receptionist who initially answered the phone said Milton Keynes Tesco had LOADS in stock when she was there this morning.

I think those of us who are not in the swap clique will no longer be given the nod and wink any longer anyway.... Many thanks for all the info so far, but I reckon this thread has run its course! .. I have a spare num nums and chunk if anyone would like to swap for a ball - please pm me, I reckon I will be unable to join the swap group as I have previously sold my spare items (5) on ebay in an enterprising effort to ensure my daughter gets what she wants on christmas day - I have used the profits made to pay over the odds for a surf board....

Well, its worth keeping trying. I actually managed to get a ball in my basket and get to the check out page then it disappeared from the basket and is now showing as out of stock...
