I'd rather buy on Ebay than buy from Dottybug here, at least you can check a sellers feedback, get some sort of protection if things go wrong and don't forget Ebay sellers have to pay fees, Ebay is starting to look a lot better at the moment than Play or Amazon or Dottybug.

Well character still showing balls in stock but no buy it now button - BOOM, BOOM, BOOM - it was inevitable me thinks.

Anyway, on another note, a forum member in North Yorkshire has just contacted me to give an update on the Wilkinsons hamster availabilty in that area - she rang from the shop whilst viewing the computer screen - dedicated or what.

The following shops are showing NO stock of hamsters BUT they are all expecting a delivery on 23/11:

Wakefield
Batley
Dewsbury
Barnsley

She hopes that this will save someone a wasted trip.

Balls showing in stock as are houses. I have a house in my basket but its crashing and im not registered so I doubt I will get one

i think all this is turning really silly im on the brink of giving up as well will just have to cram my hamsters into the one house :eek:

Ive just had the same msg from my Wilkinsons, Head Office are expecting a delivery 23/11 but they cannot guarantee if they are being sent to....getting increasingly annoyed and seriously dont think that i will be able to get one!

I noticed on character under the house it says free shipping on orders over £50 now!!! Used to be £25

I can't even get the Character website up, it says Service Unavailable. I was going to go to my local Wilkinson again today to see if they had any but couldn't be bothered, mind you after yesterday and today people will probably be better off looking in their local shops they might have more luck and not as much competition locally as online.
