My neice was in argos picking up the car/garage & got chatting to a member of staff. She told her that they have sold the adventure balls & was 99% that they had some in stock room - she even asked other members of staff who told her the same thing - YES they have definately had the balls in stock & were some in stock room. They thought that they must have been for sale on a promotional leaflet at some point. She couldn't check because they had no catalogue number! My neice begged & pleaded with her to go & check but she said the stock is't kept together so would be like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Argos are NOT flying in anything.

Character Online are the only UK Importer. They are bringing them in by air-freight rather than by sea.

Ok then, character are flying in stuff and argos is getting some of it. That's what I meant in my original post but it obviously didn't come across as that. Will go back and edit it.

You have bought the internet to it's knees
In search of houses, wheels and beds
You are really messing with our heads!

I cannot sleep or eat or wee
In case I miss an item at RRP
I even looked on evil Ebay
    £49.99 - no bloomin way!

I want to fulfill kids Xmas dreams
I want to see their happy beams
As they play with their furry little pets
And houses, wheels and other playsets

But alas, I think I might be defeated
My days go on being repeated
    F5 F5 F5 on and on
    I need a Hamster - only one!!

That's it for me - I'm psychologically sick
I hate the rodents they are taking the mick
Day and night I CANNOT hack it
They are coming for me with a strait jacket!

I'm going to go now and get some wine
Then I can breathe again and all will be fine
    I know it's only 2pm
But Go Go Pets - I HATE THEM!!!!

    :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

just found out that character are flying in some more stock before xmas - and that argos is getting some of it...sorry, no details of what or when. Argos only had houses, cars, and hammies online before...the best person to ask about anticipated character deliveries and potential stock is lizdav

    What a sweetie she is!

I was trying to hint to my darling 4 year old today that he might be hamster-only for Christmas, if I can't get the house for sure. He said, charmer that he is, "just try, Mummy. Or Abba [Dad] can do it, Abba can do anything."

but if you want to feel like we have potentially been duped into buying into the Hamster Craze, then have a look on YouTube...

Oh, I'm totally sure it's all a consumerist con. After all, I'm lucky enough to have had OH to point it out to be several times (-: He doesn't believe in Christmas presents, really, anyway. He disapproves of the whole Christmas thang!
