Well I have just given in and got a pipsqueek from ebay for £18.86 with £3 p&p.

I don't think that is too bad. Ignore the post and packing because you would have paid that in petrol/parking or fares to go out looking.

That's nine quid over the top of rrp but the seller will have fees, so they haven't made too much of a profit, unless they selling lots of them.

I think you did ok and have to think of the stress involved in worrying you can't get one and to pay an extra £9 to lesson that stress probably isn't that bad.

It's just a shame they have been grabbed off of shop shelves to sell on ebay.
Went to the paper shop - it had blown away.

No, they want the poem on their website or some other promotional material, I bet.

Go for it, you might be rewarded for your efforts. Don't sell yourself short, it was a very good poem. :T

  • After a week of following stores website, refreshing constantly, ringing round and ignoring the kids I just gave in and got 2 hamsters off ebay. Pipsqueak for 18.01 with free postage and Num num for 19.99 with free postage, I reckon the time I will save on this stupid computer is worth the extra money and I can at last concentrate on other peoples presents and not just these blinkin hamsters. Just want a pink carrier now, but hey not the end of the world if I don't get it, at least she'll have her hamsters!!!

Sorry for letting the side down!!!
A small Thank You can make a BIG difference ;)
