I'm starting to wonder what the actual likelihood of me getting an elusive ball before Xmas at the RRP is......maybe i will just have to go to ebay and try my luck

I am thinking the same .. I have already bought an overpriced surf dome thing thinking it was the ball!

Oh, I'm totally sure it's all a consumerist con. After all, I'm lucky enough to have had OH to point it out to be several times (-: He doesn't believe in Christmas presents, really, anyway. He disapproves of the whole Christmas thang!

Sorry MM, I was a bit abrupt earlier ... you know what it is like .. repeating things over and over gets on your goat and I bashed out a quick response.

    Just too quick really.

I just looked at one particular seller on ebay and she has had and still has what looks to be near on 50 odd balls sold and still for sale (and that was a very brief look) - it is so not fair that these people have pinched them all to sell at inflated prices.......I'm getting cross now.
Cost of this Hamster Hunt (inc postage):
    2 x Num Nums - £36.70, 1 x Chunk £13.50, 1 x Chunk £15.50, Slide £26.89, House £25.94, Car £14.99, Ball £9.99, Surfboard £9.99, Skateboard £9.99, Wheel £24.19 TOTAL:£187.68

A big thanks to you MSE'ers - especially Maximouse :A

Blimey. Are you on a diet? Can't think of a better way to put you off your grub that watching her!

Has anyone got the direct link to the ebay group please?
I confess it's because I'm too lazy/tired/stressed to figure out how to get to our group all by myself.

They're struggling to get over £20 on bids on ebay for the hamsters. If you don't mind paying over the odds i'd say now is the best time as they may shoot up nearer xmas.

Well you may as well wait a few days to see if you can get one from character at the RRP when they eventually list - but then again, unless you spend over £25 then you'll have to add the postage cost on top of that anyway. I still think the playsets will appear in some stores and websites over may be the next week or so, but its just being in the right place at the right time that's the difficult thing.
