I tried again and it removed all the others bar chunk this time!

I didn't put an order in. will wait for mailorderexpress.com to get back to me.

Mailorderexpress are charging double for the hamsters. I think its disgusting when retailers do that.
  • They are probably coming in and out of the pre order status as people are canceling?

    Hi All
Hope your back gets better MM
I was talking to a guy in The Entertainer and he said the reason they aren't stocking them is because they knew there would be a shortage of them from the beginning
bit of useless info I thought I'd share with you;)

Yes I agree - it's one think people auctioning these on ebay and buyers prepared to pay over the RRP but quite another when the stores start cashing in on the shortage

I know people on the thread have managed to get their money back that they paid over the RRP from Tesco which is something I guess.

I've ordered from Mailorderexpress last christmas and found their customer service lacking so probably wouldn't order from them again - greedy whatnots!

I agree. I put in an order when they were priced at £14.99 each. I originally wanted two different ones but then I saw that if I bought all four I would get free postage (and some plastic jungle animals thrown in for free!).

Almost immediately after ordering the price shot right up! I have had an email from them saying that they have my order of £59.96 and it is currently being processed.

That is all I have heard so am not 100% sure the order will be honoured or if so when I will get it!

I know it means I have paid £20.00 more for all four but taking into account the stress involved, time and petrol spent traipsing around shops I think it was an ok price to pay, providing I get them!

I still have an order in with play.com for two of them which just says awaiting stock.
