Oh no MOOKIE, I've just spent ages wrapping everything up - that will be more wrapping paper back on the need to get list...I think I should just shoot myself now as it would be quicker :rotfl:

Mind you joking aside, I seem to recall someone else saying about Pipsqueak being loose in the box and had wondered if the staff had had her out playing with her. Then somebody else also posted the same thing about another Pipsqueak so if I remember rightly, they were wondering if Pipsqueaks just weren't secured into the boxes or whether they had been having hamster races at night in the warehouse...so may be it might just be an issue with Pipsqueak?

Yep that was me...and another member, will have to go back through my posts and see who it was to PM them.

Maxi I'm sorry but this is not going to be a Pipsqueak only problem....see my last post ;)

I would post a pic but I don't have a programme on my pc to highlight the bit I'm talking about and pics will be useless without a little circle or cross near the bit I'm waffling on about. :o
  • Will check mine tomorrow can't be bothered to go and hunt for them now in case I wake the kids up, got so much stuff in my wardrobes I've no idea where they are at the moment.

i have just checked my chunk and he seems fine, i can see the 2 flaps at the front and he is secured down so think its fine, i just caught his back and off he went on one, god i thought he wasnt going to stop lol is there a mute button on these things lol

Just to be sure, there is another couple of flaps on the front too.

Oh....now I'm confused...what if these two tabs don't do anything :confused:what if the two front ones make the sounds and these other ones aren't important...how the heck am I gonna find that out!

I have one bit and the other bit has gone into the hammy when I was showing DH, maybe these bits are just to secure them in the pack, if they are then what a stupid thing to do, I'm confused now.
  • Just checked Chunk and he's ok. Those wires are a right pain to get off tho, wouldnt be suprised if a some hamsters get broken in the process of trying to unpack them. Just had a right laugh watching our 2 cats watching Chunk - one of them ran out the room, couldnt handle it! :rotfl:
  • I'm not sure I'm looking at the right bit. ould someone post a picture if possible?!!

i took the instructions out when i checked him and looked at the parts on there then looked for them on chunk im confused now lol
  • Just had a quick look at the instructions - I think the front ones do the reading of the house etc - not sure what the back one does?
  • Don't worry I just opened my pipsqueak as she was loose. My plastic bits are broken but this doe not affect the hamster with regards to the house. The code reader that works for the house is situated at the front of the hamsters and is twolittle prongs that go in and out. The plastic flaps that have broken off mine are on the side of the battery cover and don't actually do anything...were possibly there to attach the hammy to the box!!!
