Well its either that or it gets lost in amongst the chat, if anyone has the same problem then their hammy won't work leaving a lot of upset faces on xmas day. The way they are tied with metal ties in the box its highly likely there are lots broken in boxes because the ties wrap round the 2 bits I'm referring to.0 -
Oh no MOOKIE, I've just spent ages wrapping everything up - that will be more wrapping paper back on the need to get list...I think I should just shoot myself now as it would be quicker :rotfl:
Mind you joking aside, I seem to recall someone else saying about Pipsqueak being loose in the box and had wondered if the staff had had her out playing with her. Then somebody else also posted the same thing about another Pipsqueak so if I remember rightly, they were wondering if Pipsqueaks just weren't secured into the boxes or whether they had been having hamster races at night in the warehouse...so may be it might just be an issue with Pipsqueak?:snow_laug Maximouse loves the build up to Christmas :santa2:0 -

I'll try and explain it as to be honest if the two bits hadn't fallen out the pack I'd never have noticed. Directly in front of the 2 back legs (little flaps of fabric on the sides of hammy) but underneath there are 2 metal ties that loop up into the underside of the hamster, these loops wrap round the bits I'm referring too...which because mine were broken is the reason why my Pipsqueak was flapping about in the box.
It looks like they would have to be removed from the box carefully to ensure these ties don't break the bits off as they are just two rubbish little plastic tabs.0 -
i have just checked my chunk and he seems fine, i can see the 2 flaps at the front and he is secured down so think its fine, i just caught his back and off he went on one, god i thought he wasnt going to stop lol is there a mute button on these things lol0
