  • If anyone finds a playball could they post on this thread to let us know where. I really want one :o - sorry i mean my dd would really love one! :D but i cant find them anywhere in stock. I have ordered 1 from play.com but it is showing as 5 weeks delivery so would like a back up if possible ;)

Well done everyone on their finds. Just think nearer Christmas everyone else will be running round trying to find the range or paying loads for it on EBay when we can sit back smuggly knowing we got ours!

Hard to find Xmas no 1 present...

    http://www.character-online.com/products/Go-Go-Hamsters/

Website is running slow, payment took me ages. But got there in the end. All sorted for xmas :D

I have just started my little menagerie....

I have just bought the hamster car with garage and the hamster wheel with tunnel, £14.99 each and free delivery making it £29.98

I am waiting for the hamster as i want to get the funhouse playset when it comes back in stock but its only £20 , so it wont qualify for free delivery without Mr Squiggles....

And.......the website sems to running at normal speed now
If at first you dont succeed.............skydiving is not for you !

I also saw LOTS in toys r us store recently but not online.

I looked all over for these in sept for my DD's birthday (she's 5) & have to say once we've used them the accessories are quite flimsy. The ball doesnt stay together well and the others pop off quite easily. The hamster makes some odd animal noises too (cow, cockerel etc), lol.

It might just be us and my 5 yr old and 2 yr old being rough with them. The kids have had some fun with them but they aren't as good as i had hoped.

I might put hers on ebay before xmas :(
  • I got the tunnel and wheel and car and garage from character-online. I got the Playball from Sainsbury's which was £11.99 and got two beds for £5.99 each from Sainsburys too. I got the Hamsters from Toys R Us, they said they are getting a delivery on Monday so will go back and check for the House as that is the last thing I need to get now.

I've got a few stores in my favourites list so I keep checking them every time I log on to see if new stock has arrived. I'm sure they will get more of the things soon as it is only October. I have all my girls presents now so just OH, mum, dad, brother, sil, Nan and Uncle to buy for.

Hamsters are in stock at Toys R Us

My local Argos can get most of the other things in for collection but not home delivery.

What age range are you all buying for.
My ds2 is 7 and I'm wondering if these would be a good idea for him. I don't think he has heard of them though.
Don't want him to start talking about them in December though and then not be able to get anything:eek:
Might get the house and 1 hamster to start him off.

We DO have a real hamster that ds got for his 7th birthday but she is evil :rotfl:and bites everyone all the time and we have had her since July

Wilkinsons had some of the hamsters in yesterday, about a tenner I think. They had the playsets in a few months ago too but not sure if they still do, just saw them in passing.
D'you know, in 900 years of space and time, I've never met anyone who wasn't important
