To be honest, I think a lot a people are going to have a nightmare with the ball because the separate part which comes with it, that you fix onto the bottom of the hamster to stop him falling over when in the ball, will undoubtedly get stood on or lost amongst the myriad of other toys so without this bit, the hamster will only roll for a few seconds before it falls over and as getting the ball open is a bit fiddly for little ones, I can see the parents regretting the day they ever bought it as they get up for the hundreth time to open the ball and put the hamster upright again...so the moral of the story is, whatever you do, don't lose that little stabiliser bit, its worth more than the ball...:rotfl:

I've just been reading the official zhu zhu website and they have pages there where you can view or download the instructions.

On the ball one it clearly states that it shouldn't be used on carpet or any other soft surface.

Just did a Yahoo search and came up with a website called Tullabeg Toys, they don't have anything in stock at the moment but not sure if they are on the list of places that is checked regularly or if anyone has rung them.

I keep hoping that I'll come up with a website that hasn't sold out of everything.

Had to laugh at that auction for £460 with Best Offer, if you buy the set for £460 they will throw in a free bed or carrier - wow definitely worth £460 then- I think NOT!!!!!

Will consider all reasonable offers! How about putting a 'reasonable' price to start with!
