We did same thing - could have got everything on 3 for 2 at a big Tesco Direct. Decided they looked rubbish. Bought two for my friend's children (as they wanted them). Got home, daughter and son falling over these things. Go back and OOS - now I have this madness on my hands. Also need to get dressed and have breakfast and have been up and at this since 7am!

me and my girlfriend also did the same there was a load at our local big tescos my partner said at the time that her friends on bounty.com and said they were starting to become hard to get but we just didnt have the money to buy it at the time wish we had now lol

Im exactly the same my little girls been running round my legs all morning and i was supposed to pick the sister in law up over hous ago but everytime i come off of here i miss something. if i had my own way id be buying the real thing!!!! Have 2 kids and 1 hamster at the minute that just happened to be on a lonely shelf in asds the other week i couldn't believe my luck as i hid it in my other shopping!!! LOL!!

Because they were greedy.

They still haven't updated the bl**dy product page to show that it is OOS either .. you only find out when you add to basket.

Is it just the hamsters themselves that need batteries? I can't check any of the boxes of the add ons etc as I'm keeping them at my mothers house until christmas eve.

Hi all!! Finally got my account activated - have been desperate to post and thank everyone for all their help tracking down these pesky critters. I too thought I had done well with play.com but have a "order taken" and "awaiting stock" status on two items. My life has totally stopped and I have callouses from pressing refresh. What am I doing?????:D

Yes, 2 x AAA - get some rechargeable ones and a charger - they are power hungry little rodents!
