Only some of the bigger branches, with big toy departments seem to have had any stock. Some have had hamsters and some have had the playsets too. However, their 3 for 2 offer has meant that stock is literally taken off the shelves as soon as it is put on. There are 2 big Boots in the NE one at the Gateshead Metro Centre (no stock at all) and one in Newcastle Eldon Square (apparently had playsets weeks ago but has only had a few hamsters lately - hamster stock (48 only) came in on Wednesday night and was gone within a few minutes). If checked other big Boots branches but I've usually been answered with "a go go what?". So all I'm saying is if anyone is going to make a special journey to Boots, ring them first to check as they may well not stock them or if they do, they will probably be sold out. it would also be worth asking when they are expecting any further deliveries as they have this info on their computer. Most big stores get deliveries twice a day and cannot 'reserve' an item for you unless it has already been put out on the shop floor so you need to know what times of day they generally put the two deliveries out so you know what time to ring.

Oh and the lady said that they weren't expecting any more in for the foreseeable future because the warehouse did not have any stock - just in case you are madly refreshing the boots.com website - you may have a long wait...the last time they had stock was 2 weeks ago. I ordered my houses as soon as it came online. One day before delivery, I received a cancellation e mail - they didn't have enough stock to fulfil the orders taken. Boots.com website does not remove stock in 'real time' so things can be showing up for ages after they are out of stock. Don't bother ringing customer services either as they are not told when the stock goes on the website so they won't know any more than you do.

Best chance to get hamsters will be when Wilkinsons gets their order next week and you can order online (only the hamsters online) and get free delivery to the store. If anyone does this please remember to fill in your telephone number on the order or they will not be able to inform you when the hamsters arrive at the store for you (I think I waited 4 days). Most of the big wilkinsons stores will get the hamsters in and some might get some of the add ons and playsets too, but as with Boots, not all stores have the items - certainly not up here anyway - typical...

Managed to pick up Num Nums and Mr Squiggles yesterday early eve in Asda near Merthyr Tydfil, was just popping in store to get quick sarnie while travelling through that way, and thought worth wuick look, couldn't believe my luck, there was no accessories etc but there were about 4 hamsters left!, sorry late putting on here, haven't had chance before! Now just looking for an accessory to go with house and hamsters!!

Went to visit friends today and their daughter has the ball and one of the hamsters which is great.:T

Unfortunately my little girl (who I have managed to get the whole set for christmas including the play ball) was petrified of it:rolleyes: and I mean petrified!!!! OMG:eek:

Full set for sale??????? I think not after the aggro of getting it!! I'm sure she'll get used to them

She keeps telling me she wants an electric motorbike:rolleyes:
