Just opened mine to check for you I think you have a valed point
It looks exactly like the one we got our guineau pigs from tesco a few weeks back For £1.99:eek: There are no special holes inside for the hamster just put him in and he rolls only thing different is you get a very small ball for inside the big ball to rattle but any kind of small ball does the same
OOHH my god cant believe I didnt think of this it cost me £12:mad:

THanks for looking. I think I might try and pick up a cheap hamster ball, will carefully take one of my hamsters out of the pack to check it works ok with the ball.
Will let you know how it goes if no one else has by then
now has her .com delivery but doesnt know where to put it :o

I have just tried Mr squiggles in the Real go go ball and my guineau pig ball and the only thing I would say is there is no grooves in the go go ball inside it is completely smooth were is guineau pig ball has lines and his wheels keep getting stuck on it so if you can find a smooth inside ball then it should do the same hope this helps
P.s My OH thinks im mad:eek:

Thanks for checking. I think we are all more excited than our children :o

I'm worried though that instead of searching everywhere like a maniac for a go go ball, I'm going to become a lunatic running around pet shops and garden centres looking for a hamster ball with a smooth inside  :rotfl:

I got the hamsters for my daughters 3rd birthday which was in September. She absolutely adores them.

We got her the ball too and it comes with a little blue plastic 'stabiliser' which attached onto the bottom of the hamster before you put it in side. And stops it from toppling over. We have actually lost our stabiliser and without it, the hamster doesnt get very far before it topples over and you have to go rescue it. Which is a pain as my daughter cant get the lid off so it means i have to do it every 10 seconds lol.

As for the small ball, we have never put it inside the big ball, we just put it in the house and the hamster shoves it about with his nose.

Oh and if you have one of the little people garages, the hamsters work great on them. My daughters hamsters moved out of the deluxe home into the little peoples garage two days ago lol. She loves putting them up and down on the lift and loves watching them speed down the ramp!

This is what the small ball is for, its meant to be a toy for the hamster, I saw it on a video clip from usa.

I may have picked you up wrong and please correct me if I did, but you aren't meant to put guinea pigs in those balls that you get for hamsters as they can injure themselves.
