Now can I get on with reading the thread - you've taken up too much of my time now as it is. I was only reading to see how much some of you are prepared to pay so I can double it and stick my bulk buys on amazon marketplace ! Wouldn't want you to feel upset by saying ebay would I.

It saddens me that there are people like you reading this thread who are doing it out of selfishness and are taking advantage of the kind hearted people on here who are going out of their way to help others who are in the same position as them desperately trying to find much sought after items for their much loved children.
I, and many others on this site am very grateful for the many tips and stock updates that have been provided by the kind hearted ones out there.

I was feeling like a scrooge cos my kids only get one main present at christmas from santa, then a few smaller items from mom and dad with a stocking each.

After reading this thread I am feeling so much better and so privilenged to have well adjusted, grateful kids that understand the value of money and the importance of christmas. They enjoy making presents for money (visiting a pottery barn or baking biscuits). They love wrapping up presents and decorating the tree (I do not take it all down and redo it whilst they are asleep).

I can not believe how much some of you spend (or should I say get into debt) for your little dd and ds !!??. Teach them the value of christmas and more so the value of money for god sake. No wonder we are a nation of people that expect everything for nothing. !!!. If they want expensive electrical gadgets then make them earn them and see the reward in doing so. You have a responsiblity as parents to teach these kids to contribute to society !!

I think you have really annoyed some people on here with this post. Nowhere in the thread ( or what I have read of it) has anyone said 'little Harry' will throw a strop/refuse to participate in the festivities if he doesn't see all he asked for.
Some of us can afford to shell out at this time of year, heck some of us can do it all year round but that doesn't mean our children are any less grateful for what they do/don't have.

I disagree with alot of what you have written but that is of course your opinion to which you are entitled however I must say that with such an expectant username I am suprised your children are so well balanced as surely 'I want one' ought really to be 'I'd like one please if possible'.

Oh suprise siuprise it's another Troll who has EVERYTHING in the go go pet range but instead of selling it (if that's what they want to do) the feel the need to get attention here because mummy and daddy didn't love them enough !! does it make you jealous little trolly wolly to see so many parents who actually love they're kids and willing to do so much to see their happy smiling faces on xmas morning instead of being so caught up in themselves or drunk to pay attention to they're kids ahh diddums

I have nothing to be bitter about - remember I was talking about Christmas spirit ! So much for that - I have the right to state my opinions. It is incredulous the amount some of you spend thats all. I can't see how giving them everything they ask for makes them grateful. Oh and I am only referring to a few not to the majority.
You ought to keep your condescending opinions to yourself. It is not said with Christmas spirit in mind at all. All children want there dream toys for Christmas after all they are getting them from Santa. I have a philosophy in life it you cannot enjoy your childhood. Then when can you enjoy life. Cause i cannot speak for everyone but adult life is, and can be pretty s**t.

Where do you live so I can send your kids some decent presants?
