  • A slight diversion from Hamsters - has anybody had trouble getting Club Penguin Puffles? (They are little flufy soft toys)

RRP £5 but can only find online at disney store, with p + p of £4.95, which I'm not prepared to pay. The only toy shop anywhere near me that stocks them is OOS - sound familiar?

When I get home I'm going to research the best deals on the ds's as I text my Hubby and he thinks it'd be a good pressie :) xxx

I just got a red ds from VERY online. It was £99 but I used a code for £30 off a spend over £60 for new customers and also used a free delivery code. Grand total of delivered red DS lite £69.
Not stressing over what I haven't got but rejoicing what I have:T

Ooops I had no idea how rare pig goes pop would be! I'll go and try to buy it tomorrow. Unfortunately I don't think posting it to other people is going to be cheap though, and it would need proper packing too.

I'm not going to look for a screature - he's only 4 and will have plenty of stuff for christmas. If I go to the co-op tomorrow and find it full of hammy balls, screatures, piggy games and spongebob lego I'll let you all know :)

I got my eldest's DS last year for £89 for Xmas so i would be shocked if they were still £99. It is a basic DS and not the DSi though - told him he is not getting that - there will soon be a new one out again to replace that i would imagine!!!

Also be aware that dropping them is not a good idea - well not onto laminate anyway. DH dropped my sons second one (first one broke due to pixel malfunction) from knee height and it never worked again!!! Third one has lasted a year though (and much longer i hope!!)

My two are having new ds's/dsi's for xmas - we have sold ds's ds and put the money towards a dsi (£149 with two games from HMV) - he's 6 1/2. DD (4) is having a pink ds (£97 with nintendogs and accessory kit from Argos).
Ds has had many hours of fun out of his ds and it has lasted him 2 years so was well worth the money. DD us just getting to the age now where she wants to play on his ds and its all she's really asked for for xmas (except a mouse thingy as she calls the hamsters)
