so only recently joined the mad gogo hamster craze as my 4 year old said he wanted one (timing huh ) managed to get 2 on tesco last night at £9.99 each, the other 2 via makro this morning and a ball for £23, ordered a car of the dreaded....ebay
at £32 and a house of there too for £38! Hopping to get 2 beds and possibly the bed capsule or skateboard set but don't really want to keep being stung on ebay
is there really no other alternatives that will deliver in time for crimbo??

another post about ds/dsi, i have to admit, out of all the pressies i have got the kids, they have had the leapster and vsmile pocket the ds/dsi is the best money i have ever spent, they love playing on it, fantastic in car journeys/on planes etc, i am not saying that they play constantly on them but it is the toy (game) that has gone the distance.0

My son wants this, and his cousin has asked for it for her main present (she's easily pleased! she's getting a chunk hammy too).
A couple of pages back people said it's in argos, but if they are sold out I've seen it in stafford co-op when buying my hammies last week. It was £17.99 I think.
if you know anyone near a smyths toyshop, there is some stock in their shops-you can check on their website0 -

Talking of Nintendo ds's most of dd's friends are getting a ds this year but i'm just not sure if she would use it. She is very into arts and crafts etc and not so much into computers. I just don't know what to do. It's her bday in January so need to think if bday pressies tooIf only she would be more demanding lol- shouldn't wish for that really but she never seems to know what she wants and would be happy with a milky way :rotfl: xxx

noooooo! houses are going on tesco direct tomorrow, someone said a few pages back.
Some people ordered random sets from a spanish site, if you want to keep an eye out for posts about that. You can't choose what you get so it might be ball, car, skateboard or surfboard (I think?) but I can't remember what google translate said.
the site is elcorteingles and search for hamster.52% tight0 -

Yeah i agree my son plays his alot due to just having a selection of new games for birthday but even when it goes away for a while they soon go back to it. It is great for journeys etc.
He started out with a Gameboy when he was 3.5yrs (handed down from my nephew) but we got him the DS for his 6th birthday last year and my 3.5 yr old uses the Gameboy now. I am sure it won't be long til he gets a DS too (probably a DSi - maybe next Xmas - cause then the eldest will want an upgrade too!! LOL). At the mo the youngest doesn't really " get" the games on the gameboy but he is getting better with practice!!Cost of this Hamster Hunt (inc postage):
2 x Num Nums - £36.70, 1 x Chunk £13.50, 1 x Chunk £15.50, Slide £26.89, House £25.94, Car £14.99, Ball £9.99, Surfboard £9.99, Skateboard £9.99, Wheel £24.19 TOTAL:£187.68
A big thanks to you MSE'ers - especially Maximouse :A0
