I've noticed that a lot of forum members are posting about potential bargains. However, as there are thousands of people viewing this forum, presumably once these items are pointed out, then they will not go cheap anymore (which is actually a bonus for the person selling the item on ebay). My advice to anyone finding a potentially cheap ebay listing is to keep the info to yourself if you want it, or pm someone who you think needs it, as posting the item number to this forum only benefits the ebayer as the item is actually being advertised to thousands of people, which they wouldn't actually get with their ebay listing alone, especially if they have made a boo boo in the spelling of the item.

Nuttygal - My 3.5 yr old has the handheld Leapster 2 and he loves that - you can do drawings on there and play simple inclusive games - you can also download a couple of other games on the pc (it has a connection wire). The parents can then see how their children are progressing. I haven't gone into that too much but my 7 year old (who LOVES his DS) also plays it sometimes. Again I guess it depends what your kids are into. You can get quite a few different games for it too but they are obviously more money.

    Thanks hun :D

Talking of Nintendo ds's most of dd's friends are getting a ds this year but i'm just not sure if she would use it. She is very into arts and crafts etc and not so much into computers. I just don't know what to do. It's her bday in January so need to think if bday pressies too :D If only she would be more demanding lol- shouldn't wish for that really but she never seems to know what she wants and would be happy with a milky way :rotfl: xxx
Please remember to thank fellow MSE'rs

One thing my 7 year old had a year or so ago was the Digital Arts and Crafts Studio from Fisher Price http://www.fisher-price.com/fp.aspx?st=5625&e=digitalstudio. He uses it quite a lot and you can be quite "creative and crafty" with it. The 3.5 yr old also uses it too.

I think you can get arty games on the DS's now too as mentioned above
Cost of this Hamster Hunt (inc postage):
    2 x Num Nums - £36.70, 1 x Chunk £13.50, 1 x Chunk £15.50, Slide £26.89, House £25.94, Car £14.99, Ball £9.99, Surfboard £9.99, Skateboard £9.99, Wheel £24.19 TOTAL:£187.68

A big thanks to you MSE'ers - especially Maximouse :A

my dd is 7, i got her a dsi for her birthday as her ds has been playing up, my 3 yr old now plays her ds, drives me nuts though when he plays lego star wars as he doesnt understand, but he likes peppa pig, postman pat, bob builder, mario kart, he also likes to sneak off with my dsi and loves taking photos and screaming into it and hearing his voice with all the dsi voice changing thingies.

How old is your daughter? Mine is 6 and she's been going on about this Pig Goes Pop game where you feed a pig tons of hamburgers and eventually he bursts - or something to that effect! We thought it sounded a bit silly but the reviews I've read about it have been really good. It's a bit hard to find though. (but then we are experts by now, aren't we? :) )

My son wants this, and his cousin has asked for it for her main present (she's easily pleased! she's getting a chunk hammy too).

A couple of pages back people said it's in argos, but if they are sold out I've seen it in stafford co-op when buying my hammies last week. It was £17.99 I think.

This auction on Ebay is spelt wrong so might be worth watching, 300372397784 it's down as Mr Squigges. Has 4 days left to run.

When I was looking for him I also saw him spelt as sqiggles :D But he was still to expensive, everyone must have found him by 'go go hamster'
