Got through to ytc - the have no Slide's or Wheels available - they do have Green and Aqua carriers but they are priced at £7.99 each which is reasonable compared to ebay/amazon etc but their postage is £12.95 - so for 2 carriers I would be £28.93 - I would be as well going to the dreaded ebay after all!:eek::eek:

Surely it can only cost a couple of quid to send two blankets? They are very light!
...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.
  • I hit the send too early.

Last night noticed that order cancelled due to payment declined, this was from an e-mail. The order still showed as processed on account details. I called today and it has been cancelled. I had a 15 minute conversation with manager who said something along the line of they had used fraud procedures to cancel any orders over 2.

I suspect that there are a few people who in their haste did not read the 2 limit notice. Back to the drawing board.
  • I think to be fair to a lot of the retailers, they are selling out before the website has chance to update. It is better that they tell you at checkout than they take the order and get our hopes up. There's nothing more annoying than thinking the order's gone through, only to find out the next day it's been cancelled, or put on back order.

Thats what I thought = but others are saying they were only charged £4.95 so im hoping i mis-heard the lady on the other end of the phone. Im not too bothered about getting any Carriers anyway - they will probably just be left in a drawer within 48 hours!
  • Tesco Direct still showing 3 of the 4 hamsters as in stock but they are removed from your basket at checkout saying they are out of stock!!
Has managed to get Mr Squiggles, NumNums, A funhouse, A Ball, A Skateboard, an aqua bed, A Car and a Wheel. Surfboard on order from Play.com.

Complaining when you can get hold of them now lol
Buy off ebay and you'll have them straight away. Tick tock it's getting nearer xmas, have you got your hamsters yet? Remember last post too, you don't want to leave it too late. If it's the week before xmas and you haven't had one I'd start worrying. That's just under 3 weeks!

I received a carrier and a bed from a swap on the ebay group, and it cost less than £3 first class recorded.

Delivery charges are ridiculous for some places.

I've been watching the Ebay sales of Go Go stock for the last couple of days, just out of morbid curiosity really, and I have observed the following things :

    1. Hamsters are now only selling at an average of £6 above RRP - which means if the seller had to pay postage from TRU etc, then they have barely made a profit. (I came to this rather scientific conclusion by monitoring 53 hamster sales, and working out the average price which was £16)

    2. Houses are selling for an average of £28 - which is indeed £8 above the RRP but I myself bought one from Hooray and when taking postage into account I paid almost £26.

    3. Chunk is seriously underloved, averaging only £13

    4. The most sought after item is still the ball, averaging £11 above RRP

    5. I really need a bloody job.

    Excellent research :D

I love chunky, he's my favourite!
