Hi, I actually emailed them to check on my order since my bank told me nothing had been processed, so you won't get this email but I thought it might help you guys to know that the orders placed around this date are on their way.
It might also help anyone to know, my bank had no record of the transaction on my debit card, nothing showing that it had gone through verify visa screen, but my credit cards had 3 authorisations against them, anyway my bank today has now had a transaction of £47.XX put through on 1st, so the verify by visa is not used by spanish site to take the funds I can only assume they do just capture your card details and process when the order is ready to ship.
Such a relief I am officially retired from hamster hunt now!
Hopefully this doesnt mean I will end up with several sets from Spain!?!0 -
morning
well, no parcel from tru today - and this is when it shud have arrived........ so i phoned, and get told i have to wait 4 working days for royal fail to deliver, before theyll consider refunding!!!!!!!!!!!
they have no clue on further stock being put online, and tbh were useless! i also queried the msg saying items require signature, and she said that that comes up for every order regardless, but unless sent by carrier no signature is needed!!
great - so sumwhere theres a very happy postman with my order.......0 -

That's terrible. Tbh I'm about to send them an email asking them to justify their postage costs. They charge 9.95 to my area which is extortionate if you're only ordering one hamster and they don't even send it recorded.
I hope your little hamster turns up hun xxxPlease remember to thank fellow MSE'rs :beer:0 -

thought it was a time for a timely reminder.
each year there is "must have" toy that is out of stock and each year you will get some con artists who will attempt to claim they have stock and take orders for toys they claim is "in stock". Come xmas day you have no toy and loads of fun and games to get your money back.
make some simple checks :-
1) check the website domain here
http://whois.domaintools.com/
to see when it was registered , if its only been registered in the last month or so or is registered outside the UK then avoid.
2) even if the domain is registered a while ago carefully look at the site , does it look cheap and nasty ?? does it only take paypal , is it full of spelling mistakes. There should be a real contact telephone number , not a mobile, and an address for contact according to distance selling regulations.Check any addresses on google to make sure they are not for a newsagents or a virtual office for mail drop.Ask yourself how a small website gets stock when all the big web sites have none.
3) be wary of sending money to people on gumtree who claim to have them available
stock often has a habit of magically arriving in all the big stores the week before xmasEx forum ambassador
